I am an amateur athlete fully dedicated and committed to my ITF Taekwon-do results. I started learning Taekwon-Do when I was 29 years old with no sports experience whatsoever, and I never really dreamt about big accomplishments. Still, I trained hard for 4 and a half years, 5 days a week, while also maintaining full time employment in my accounting field.
Despite my challenges in training, all my hard work paid off. As of today, I have won many domestic titles and represented the USA at two International events: 5th ITF World Cup 2014 (Montego Bay, Jamaica) and 6th ITF World Cup 2016 (Budapest, Hungary). I became the all-round champion in the pre-black belt division for Senior Female Sparring (-62kg) and Senior Female Specialty Breaking. My biggest achievements so far were 1st Place Senior Female Sparring (-62kg) and 1st Place Senior Female Specialty Breaking as a Black belt at the 2017 ITF TKD USA Nationals & Team USA Selections. Now I will compete as a member of USA Team at ITF Taekwon-Do World Championship in October 2017, Ireland. After this achievement, I have my heart set on representing USA with dignity.
